Good bike for price

Bought this bike on sale for only $350 even though it's worth like $450+, and it has been holding up really well. I use it mainly for fishing (to get me to spots) and here and there I go mountain biking on the local trails and it works really well. The brakes are solid, the suspension is great. The only problem I have is that when I switch to any gear in the rear other than 4 it makes this weird clicking noise. Other than that it's a great bike for the price.

BTW this is the first bike I owned... gonna upgrade in the future anyway

A great bike, until it wasn't

I purchased this bike from Sportchek in Ontario on 4 July 2022 (picked up 7 July).
In late July of 2023, the bike developed significant looseness of the rear wheel axle.
As it was past the warranty period I (shamefully) did not pursue service, thinking it would be a minor repair.
I resorted to an old bike for my summer cycling.

In taking the bike wheel apart, I note a complete catastrophic failure of the gear side bearing cup, which detached and was inside the hub.
This took place at approximately 1900 KM of usage, of which 70% is street riding, and 30% is trail riding.

Up to the failure, I loved the smoothness and sensitivity of the shifting, the stopping power of the disc brakes, but it is now a boat anchor.

Disappointed

Bought for my son and after 1week I had to bring it to a shop to repair and replace faulty parts. Seat kept coming loose and derailer never worked properly.

Great bike. The dusc breaks squeak abit and the detailer nees adjusting because thebhugher gears the chain rubs. I haven't brought it back for adjustments but im confident it will be no problem. Ibwould recommend purchasing yhis bike.
